    Senior Specialist, Curriculum

     The Senior Specialist, Curriculum Development opportunity is with Colibri Group's esteemed accounting brand, Becker Professional Education. For over 60 years, Becker has been the partner accountants trust with their professional education. 
     
    Position Overview
    The Senior Specialist, Curriculum position is focused on CPE content development in the tax area of specialization. 
     
    Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities
    • Write content as needed
    • Review CPE courses developed by subject matter experts (SMEs)
    • Write and/or review CPE course questions and glossaries
    • Plan and develop new courses in assigned tax topic areas
    • Gather descriptions of new CPE courses from SMEs and submit to production and marketing teams
    • Regularly review courses on CPE catalog to assess when content should be updated
    • Provide guidance to production team on images to be used in CPE courses
    • Train SMEs on the use of CPE course templates
    • Assist in the maintenance of CPE learning maps
    • Assist in the development of curriculum for custom content projects
    • Assist in the development of curriculum for nano learning courses
    • Follow developments in tax legislation and the tax profession and plan the timely development of new courses to respond to these developments
    • Assist with instructional design of new and existing courses according to Becker’s proprietary design templates
    • Review and critique the Becker CPE LMS and other learning tools.
    • Complete other duties as assigned
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, finance and/or accounting required; master's degree preferred.
    • CPA credential required
    •  3+ years’ experience in the accounting profession with content or technical development preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
    • Strong organizational and resource management skills
