Role Summary

MLAI Engineer is the crosscutting AI capability within the Data AI POD The role is responsible for embedding AIML capabilities across the enterprise data platform leveraging Snowflake Cortex Snowflake Intelligence AgenticAI patterns The role bridges the Data Platform and AI Stack enabling AIdriven analytics operational insights decision support and agentic workflow execution over canonicalized data domains

Key Responsibilities

Integrate Snowflake Intelligence AI assistant capabilities into the data platform for naturallanguage querying automated insights and selfserve analytics

Integrate with AgenticAI patterns for agentic execution within workflows humanintheloop orchestration embedded in business processes

Connect AI capabilities with the Zurich Group GenAI Lounge for enterprisegoverned generative AI ensuring compliance with ZCM and Zurich Group AI governance standards

Embed AI assistants and copilots into the Universal Ops UI Neutrinos and customerfacing portals via API integration

Collaborate with the Data Tech Lead on data platform architecture decisions impacting AIML workloads

Partner with the Integration ART to expose AI capabilities via APIs aligned to ConnectZ standards

Stay current on Snowflake Cortex Snowflake Intelligence and GenAI advancements recommend adoption of new capabilities to the POD

MustHave Skills Qualifications

6 years in ML engineering or AI development with at least 2 years deploying MLAI solutions on cloud data platforms

Handson experience with Snowflake Cortex functions LLM inference ML model deployment vector embeddings similarity search

Strong Python proficiency ML frameworks scikitlearn XGBoost PyTorchTensorFlow data libraries pandas NumPy

Familiarity with Snowflake Intelligence for conversational analytics

Experience with LLMGenAI integration prompt engineering RAG RetrievalAugmented Generation finetuning and AI agent patterns

Understanding of MLOps model versioning CICD for ML model monitoring drift detection

Solid SQL skills and understanding of data platform architecture Snowflake data warehousing lakehouse

Experience working in AgileSAFe delivery teams

Strong communication skills ability to translate AI capabilities into business value for nontechnical stakeholders

GoodtoHave Preferred

Experience with Databricks ML MLflow Feature Store Model Serving Databricks is the longerterm analytics direction

Insurance domain experience claims fraud detection underwriting models customer lifetime value marketing mix modeling

Experience with AgenticAI or agentic workflow patterns multiagent orchestration tooluse humanintheloop

Familiarity with Zurich Group GenAI Lounge or enterprise AI governance frameworks

Experience integrating AIML outputs into BI tools Power BI Tableau and operational UIs

AWSAzure ML services experience SageMaker Azure ML

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
