We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Specialist IV to support critical manufacturing, engineering, quality, and program requirements through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and subcontract administration. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex procurement activities, negotiate supplier agreements, and play a key role in supporting production schedules and organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong procurement and contract management experience within a manufacturing environment and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, supplier relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Procure critical-path components, materials, equipment, and services that support manufacturing and business operations.
• Manage supplier relationships and assigned commodity portfolios to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved.
• Serve as a primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams.
• Create, issue, and administer a variety of contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and other procurement agreements.
• Lead supplier selection activities, including sourcing strategies, supplier evaluations, cost analysis, price analysis, fact-finding, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project schedules.
• Proactively communicate with suppliers to identify and mitigate delivery risks before they impact operations.
• Review, negotiate, and modify contract terms and conditions, including procurement agreements and End User License Agreements (EULAs).
• Interpret component specifications, engineering requirements, and product documentation to ensure procurement accuracy.
• Maintain procurement documentation and records in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support compliance initiatives through purchase order file reviews, documentation audits, and peer procurement audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance procurement processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of related procurement or purchasing experience, OR
• Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, OR
• In lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or subcontract management experience.
• Strong experience working within a manufacturing environment supported by ERP/MRP systems.
• Proven success managing supplier relationships and conducting procurement negotiations.
• Experience creating, reviewing, and administering procurement contracts and agreements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four or more years of professional purchasing experience in an ERP/MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting government contracting or FAR-regulated procurement environments.
• Knowledge of procurement terms, conditions, subcontract administration, and commercial agreements.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, product configuration management, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management organizations.
