The Senior Specialist, social media & Multimedia Content is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a multi-channel social media strategy that strengthens brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports organizational goals. This role manages day-to-day social content creation, channel management, analytics, community engagement, podcast promotion, and multimedia content production across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. The position also supports video production efforts, including on-site filming, content capture, and post-production editing. A strong understanding of digital trends, video storytelling, reputation management, social media best practices, and content distribution is essential.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute organic social media strategies aligned to brand, campaign, and business priorities.
• Manage and maintain social content calendars across multiple channels and audiences.
• Translate marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, podcasts, and business objectives into platform-specific social content.
• Develop and execute social promotion strategies that maximize the reach and engagement of podcasts, webinars, events, and video content.

Content Creation, Video Production & Storytelling

• Create engaging, platform-native content including short-form video, graphics, photography, social copy, audiograms, and multimedia assets.
• Assist with on-site video production, including content capture, interviews, event coverage, production logistics, and talent coordination.
• Edit video content for social media, podcasts, executive communications, recruiting, and marketing campaigns.
• Repurpose podcasts, webinars, interviews, and long-form content into short-form social assets that extend audience reach and engagement.
• Partner with internal teams to source stories, subject matter experts, and content opportunities.
• Ensure all content reflects brand voice, visual standards, accessibility requirements, and messaging consistency.

Podcast Promotion & Content Distribution

• Support the promotion and growth of AMN Healthcare podcasts through social media campaigns, video clips, audiograms, and integrated marketing efforts.
• Create promotional assets and content plans for podcast launches and ongoing episode distribution.
• Track engagement and performance of podcast-related content and recommend optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and subject matter experts to increase awareness and audience engagement for AMN's content portfolio.

Community Management & Reputation

• Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms in a timely, authentic, and brand-aligned manner.
• Support reputation management by identifying and escalating sensitive or high-risk interactions.
• Foster community growth and strengthen audience relationships through proactive engagement.

Analytics & Optimization

• Track, analyze, and report on social media and content performance metrics, including engagement, reach, audience growth, video performance, and podcast promotion effectiveness.
• Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to continuously optimize content and strategy.
• Provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner with marketing, brand, recruitment marketing, communications, and creative teams to align social, video, and content efforts.
• Collaborate with external agencies, production partners, and vendors as needed to support content creation and multimedia initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on social media trends, video best practices, podcast promotion, and platform innovations.

Key Skills

• Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
• Strong experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social platforms.
• Experience supporting video production, including content capture, interview setups, event filming, and production coordination.
• Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of short-form video trends, social-first storytelling, and content repurposing strategies.
• Experience promoting podcasts, webinars, or thought leadership content across digital channels.
• Experience with community management and online reputation engagement.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines simultaneously.

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3+ of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 6-9 years of work experience of Marketing experience, preferably with experience developing and implementing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns

• Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable improvements

• Strong visual and content creation skills (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in an office/home office environment.

• Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate

$66,500 - $79,000 Salary

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
