Job Responsibilities:

About the Role: Our mission is to define and roll out global standard solutions, establish best practices, and drive digitalization. The Senior Specialist, Systems & Tools acts as the central contact for procurement systems in the Americas. The role translates business requirements into aligned solutions in close collaboration with other regions and IT implementation partners. In addition, the position leads enablement activities through training and knowledge transfer to ensure the efficient and compliant use of Magna's Supplier Management Systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for groups and divisions across the Americas for questions related to our standard Supplier Management Systems.
  • Drive cross-group standardization and continuous improvement through the implementation of professional Suppler Management Systems and tools.
  • Identify and understand business needs; coordinate requirements with other regions and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Act as the interface between our business teams and IT Experts and ensure detailed specifications are available, IT requirements are clearly defined, and implementation of appropriate tools work smoothly.
  • Lead global cross-group project teams and ensure timely availability of solutions to comply with customer, governmental, and legal requirements.
  • Drive data quality initiative to allow Magna to generate value out of data.
  • Support the business in data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training sessions for our locations in the region.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of procurement processes and familiarity with standard systems used in procurement.
  • Several years of experience in Systems and Data Management, preferably in a procurement environment
  • Proficiency in implementing and standardizing Supplier Management Tools in a global environment.
  • Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics and intelligence tools like Excel, Pivot, or Power Bi.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Previous automotive industry experience
