About the Position

The Senior Specialized Program Analyst plays a key role in strengthening Lane County’s behavioral health system through community partnership, coordination, and oversight of contracted services.

Working within the Behavioral Health Division, this position serves as a connector across the system—collaborating with behavioral health providers, consumer-led organizations, and human service partners to support a responsive, high-quality continuum of care. The role also partners closely with the Health & Human Services Contracts Team, providing behavioral health subject matter expertise to support effective contract development, monitoring, and compliance.

This position is ideal for someone who understands the complexity of behavioral health systems and is motivated to improve outcomes through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate is a proactive, self-directed professional who can navigate both independent work and team-based environments with ease. They bring strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders and system partners
  • Support division leadership in developing and implementing behavioral health programs and partnerships
  • Monitor subcontract performance and provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Contribute to system planning efforts, including needs assessments, policy and procedure development, and work planning
  • Lead or support quality improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects across a range of behavioral health focus areas
