Job Title: Senior SQL DBA

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Plano, Texas

Required Pay Scale: $65-$67/hour W2

SQL DBA Profile Types We Are Searching For

• Senior SQL Database Administrators
• SQL Server DBAs
• Database Engineers with strong SQL Server administration experience

Project Details

• Enterprise SQL DBA supporting production database environments
• Focus on database administration, troubleshooting, automation, and database change management
• Environment is moving from Tactical toward Liquibase Secure for database change/deployment management

Must-Haves / Required Skills

• 7+ years of SQL Server / SQL DBA experience
• Strong hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
• Strong knowledge of tables, joins, stored procedures, and database objects
• Extensive production troubleshooting and issue resolution experience
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server administration and built-in tools, particularly SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Experience working with automated database deployment/change-management tools, preferably Liquibase Secure; Tactical experience is also relevant
• Strong understanding of enterprise database environments
• Scripting/automation experience, with PowerShell preferred
• Experience supporting large-scale or complex enterprise environments

Nice-to-Haves

• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Financial services / banking industry experience
• Experience migrating from Tactical to Liquibase Secure

What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and support enterprise SQL Server databases
• Troubleshoot complex database, query, and production issues
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries involving multiple tables and joins
• Use SSMS and other SQL Server tools for database administration and troubleshooting
• Support automated database change and deployment processes using Liquibase Secure/Tactical
• Develop scripts and automation to improve DBA processes, preferably using PowerShell
• Support database upgrades, enhancements, deployments, and production changes
• Work within enterprise standards for database reliability, security, and change management
