You will work closely with leadership, gain exposure to budgeting, audits, fixed assets, manufacturing cost structures, and financial analysis, while helping drive the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations.What You'll Be DoingOwn key areas of the monthly close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and reportingHelp ensure accurate and timely financial statements and month-end reportingSupport budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activitiesManage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project accountingPartner with operations, maintenance, and other departments to support business objectivesAssist with annual audits and tax-related requestsContribute ideas to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencyWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or public accounting serving manufacturing/distribution clientsStrong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end closeAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problemsDesire to continue growing professionally and advance within an organizationLocationCentral Illinois – 2 hours south of Chicago.
