Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The Senior Staff Accountant plays an important supportive role by assisting with the general ledger, reviewing, and preparing financial statements and financial reports, and assisting with audits, monthly close process and reconciling of accounts.Assist with cash application to ensure accurate recording in the Company's accounting softwareAssist with the creation of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts in a timely mannerCollaborate with the funding team to process the payment for deals such as ACH, Wires, and checksAssist with monthly close process by reviewing AR, equipment costs, client deposits, and bank reconciliationsReconcile bank accounts at least monthly and verify deposits and address inquiries from banksPrepare Journal Entries and account reconciliationPerform account analysis and ensure the integrity of data reflected in the corporate financial systemsExamine deviations from the budget or expectationsProvide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual auditAssist the Controller and CFO with any additional duties as assignedAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and managementDemonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearanceAdheres to all Company Core Values, Policies & Procedures and Safety RegulationsAdheres to local, state and federal lawsPerforms any other duties that may be assigned by managementUnderstands and complies with all company rules and regulationsMinimum Qualifications2-4 years of accounting experienceBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experiencePersonal integrity when working with personal and sensitive financial informationKnowledge of general financial accountingLeasing industry experience preferredJoin us if you're passionate about leveraging your accounting expertise to drive organizational success!
