A growing CPA firm is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who will manage accounting, tax, and advisory responsibilities for assigned clients.

This position is hybrid, works alongside a talented and friendly accounting team, and offers strong career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accuracy for multiple client entities
- Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis
- Assist with individual and business tax return preparation
- Support tax planning initiatives and respond to tax-related inquiries
- Manage cash activity, bill payments, and account monitoring
- Review financial results, identify variances, and flag issues or trends
- Provide financial information and analysis as needed
- Contribute to internal process improvements and accounting system enhancements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA, or actively pursuing CPA licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Prior experience preparing tax returns
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP principles
- Proficiency with QuickBooks

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 + bonus

- Hybrid work environment (2–3 days from home)
