Senior Staff Accountant

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8AM to 5PM; Full TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to support daily operations, financial reporting, tax compliance and treasury activities. Experience with Commercial Activity Tax and Sales Tax is strongly preferred. Treasury Management/Banking experience (Wires, ACH, EFT) is required.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.Process and manage banking transactions (domestic and international).Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Review Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash balances.Maintain internal controls over cash disbursements and receipts.Prepare and file Commercial Activity Tax returns.Working knowledge of multi-state sales and use taxes.Support external audits and provide required documentation.Spearhead the utilization/implementation of AI to enhance productivity.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting3+ years of Accounting experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience processing wires, ACH and EFT transactionsExperience with bank reconciliations and cash managementProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent organizational and communication skillsExperience with Sage CRE 300 softwareWhy Join Us?Unlimited opportunities for growth.Collaborative team environmentProfessional DevelopmentStable and growing organizationDirect exposure to tax compliance, treasury management and financial reportingHealth, Dental, Vision and Supplemental Insurance401(k) matchPaid Time Off and HolidaysProfessional Development OpportunitiesCompany-Provided LunchIf you are a motivated accounting professional with strong technical, accounting and banking experience, we encourage you to apply.Holland Roofing Group offers competitive wages based on experience and excellent benefits.
