Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant Company: Traffic Plan Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary Traffic Plan is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Department. This position will support key accounting functions, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate has strong general accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with the accounting team and other departments. Responsibilities Oversee employee expense reimbursements and Travel and Entertainment expense management. Lead the implementation of new Travel and Entertainment software. Serve as backup for preparing daily cash summaries and communicating cash positions to management. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare account reconciliations and research discrepancies. Support multi-entity accounting activities, including intercompany billing and reconciliations. Prepare and process journal entries. Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded accurately. Research accounting issues and support compliance with GAAP. Assist with audit preparation and coordinate documentation for external auditors. Review expenses and financial transactions as assigned. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed. Prepare financial reports and assist with special accounting projects. Perform additional duties as assigned.
