Salary: $82,950.40 to $128,564.80 annually
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant for a full-time permanent opportunity in Dover, Delaware.

Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate insurance accounts receivable operations
Supervise billing, collections, account follow-up, and reimbursement activities
Monitor AR performance and implement process improvements
Lead and mentor team members through coaching, training, and performance management
Collaborate with physician practices, revenue cycle leadership, and operational departments
Analyze reports, identify denial trends, and improve reimbursement performance
Ensure compliance with government and commercial payer regulations
Utilize Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) systems to support revenue cycle operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
Minimum of 5 years of patient accounting, third-party reimbursement, or revenue cycle experience
At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of insurance billing, collections, and denial management
Experience with Epic HB/PB preferred
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
