Our team provides a full range of services - including tax preparation, small business accounting, investment planning and insurance services - all designed to meet your unique financial goals with integrity and expertise.TMS Financial is currently looking to hire a full-time Senior Staff Accountant for our Green Bay office.The Ideal CandidateProven understanding of general bookkeeping, payroll and accounting principles and industry complianceProficient skills in QuickBooks software with QuickBooks Online CertificationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with a desire for the greatest degree of accuracyAbility to work closely with tax preparers to ensure financials are accurate and tax-ready. Assist with year-end adjustments and identify potential tax issues or opportunities during financial reviews5+ years of experience in accounting industry with emphasis on public accountingBachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related fieldResponsibilitiesHandle accounting tasks including data entry, payroll, financial review, and various other accounting related tasks for multiple clientsOnboard new clients and set up QuickBooks Online, including chart of accounts, bank-feeds and integrations. Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to staff and clientsClient interaction including phone calls, emails, and some face-to-face or virtual meetingsResearch and resolve client concerns, questions, or requests to resolutionEffectively manage and prioritize accounting workflowsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statementsMaintain advanced proficiency in QuickBooks OnlineMaintain firm standards, deadlines and documentation proceduresEnsure best practices are followed for accuracy and consistencyCreate, enhance, and maintain various standard operating procedures, database projects and other special projects as directedThe position is full-time with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
