Regular responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant include completing the monthly closing process for divisional and corporate entities, reviewing and preparing journal entries, and analyzing and publishing financial statements.Prepare financial information monthly, quarterly, and annually using approved company financial reporting tools.Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering journal entries; assist in month‑end close processes and reconciliations.Prepare interim and year‑end audit work papers.Analyze general ledger accounts and interpret data using spreadsheets.Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules for internal GAAP books and tax for multiple legal entities.Provide ERP software support for locations nationwide.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Participate in continuous improvement efforts supporting various business segments.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent years of related experience, required.3+ years of accounting experience, required.Accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, strongly preferred.Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel.Willingness and ability to train operational partners in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, required.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, a plus.Job Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong organizational skills.Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices.Ability to analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level.Mathematical competence.Self‑starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently.This employment advertisement is not applicable to individuals who reside in the states of California or Colorado.#J-18808-Ljbffr
