Through our portfolio of brands, including Connexity, ShopYourLikes, and Skimlinks, we partner with thousands of retailers, publishers, and creators to drive sales for major retailers globally.We're looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Santa Monica. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role will play an important part in supporting the month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance and the broader business, gaining exposure to a dynamic, global technology company while helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financials. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and contributing to a high-performing team.Responsibilities:Partner with the Assistant Controller to execute the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial recordsAssist in the preparation of internal monthly financial statementsReview and oversee intercompany balancesAnalyze revenue and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and work with the FP&A team and other departments to understand and explain variances between actual results and budgets/forecastsLiaise with foreign subsidiaries to complete global analyses and resolve any issues identifiedAssist with external and internal audits and preparation of tax returns by compiling required documentation and preparing various schedules and supportHelp in determining proper internal controls and segregation of dutiesDrive process improvements by identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing solutions, including system automationWork with accounting management to administer the company's travel and expense programResearch, resolve and respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely mannerAssist in special ad-hoc projects as assignedQualifications:4+ years related experience in accounting or finance; public accounting or public company experience strongly preferredCPA or equivalent license preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirementsIntermediate knowledge of Excel applications and formulasBasic understanding of accounting systems; NetSuite experience preferredExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with particular attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced accounting environment with flexibility to take on new duties as needed amidst changing prioritiesVoted “Best Places to Work,” our culture is driven by self-starters, team players, and visionaries.
