Seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger activities, financial reporting, audits, and compliance for a mission-driven organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong nonprofit accounting experience and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Maintain general ledger accuracy
- Prepare reconciliations and financial analyses
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting
- Support Form 990 filings and related schedules
- Review AR/AP activity
- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Nonprofit accounting experience required
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
- General ledger and month-end close experience
- Audit support experience
- Exposure to Form 990 reporting
- AR/AP experience
- CPA preferred
- ERP experience preferred
