Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Recruiter- Accounting & Finance | Indianapolis & Louisville LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable client in Louisville, Kentucky to identify an experienced Senior Staff Accountant for their team. With this opportunity you will focus on the back end processes of payroll—month end payroll accruals, PTO accruals, intercompany journal entries, and validation/data checks for accuracy. Ideal candidates will be able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment with the ability to quickly pivot as needed.Responsibilities:Collect, reconcile and record all payroll data, including reconciling payroll and benefit related balance sheetsPartner with payroll and IT departments to ensure processed payrolls are accounted forAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesField various ad-hoc requests for data and recordingPrepare financial statements, and manage general ledger entriesQualifications :Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance1-3+ years of relevant accounting experienceHybrid work environmentSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Accounting/AuditingIndustries: Human Resources ServicesReferral notes and additional job postings and notices have been removed to focus on this role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
