Responsibilities of this hybrid Sr Staff Accountant include:
Manage fixed asset tracking and produce supporting schedules and reports
Review and validate financial information through detailed spreadsheet analyses
Complete account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
Prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly close process
Upload and maintain monthly financial data within the company's consolidation platform
Generate intercompany billing and oversee related collections activity
Ensure accuracy of payables by performing 3-way match
Process expense reimbursements
Facilitate check runs and wire transfers
Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation
Provide external audits assistance
Help prepare annual budgets and forecasting
Tax filings, including recurring sales/use tax and annual property tax reports
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3+ years of experience in accounting preferably within biotech or life science industries
Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis on Excel, as well as experience using JD Edwards
Accurate and attentive to detail
Organized and effective time management skills
Capable of working autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills
