As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential support for our financial operations. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers
Prepare accrual entries to comply with US GAAP
Maintain schedule for prepaid accounts and process amortization
Handle corporate credit card transactions between the 3rd party software and Quickbooks, and monthly credit card reconciliation
Conduct Pre-audit tasks across organizations in preparing consolidated financial statements
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial forecasting & budgeting support
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment
Manage the companys general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and assist in the analysis of financial reports, including budget variance analysis
Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Assist with audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
Requirements
Must be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and accounting software such as QuickBooks, MS Dynamics Business Central, or similar platforms
