Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Waltham - in office work schedule
Salary: $95-105K

- The Position: Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Accountant will own the monthly close process, financial reporting, operational accounting, and business planning.
- The Opportunity: Gain broad exposure to accounting and operations while collaborating with leadership to drive business process improvement.
Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant
- Coordinate the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and account analysis.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and bank statement reconciliation.
- Analyze financial results and investigate account fluctuations and variances.
- Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity reporting.
Qualifications of the Senior Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
- Experience with general ledger maintenance and month-end close processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP functions, and large data set analysis.
