Senior Staff Electrical Engineer

As a pivotal member of our R&D division, you will engage in pioneering laser product development, navigating both short-term and long-term projects aimed at revolutionizing aerospace technology. Collaborating in a dynamic environment, you will exercise significant autonomy in decision-making within your specialty. Your role encompasses diverse engineering responsibilities, including the creation, verification, and enhancement of electronic systems. You will engage in circuit board creation, firmware development—both FPGA and CPU—cabling, harness design, intricate documentation work, integration at the board/system level, and thorough testing and troubleshooting. This position requires handling multiple projects simultaneously, offering a blend of swift, short-scale tasks, and comprehensive, long-duration initiatives.

A BSEE degree coupled with 10 to 20 years of relevant experience is requisite. You should be adept in circuit board design, integration, and troubleshooting, with a penchant for hands-on work, including field testing and experimental participation. Familiarity with utilizing electrical lab equipment in embedded system contexts is essential. Those with an MSEE and expertise in high-reliability military or space-flight electronics will be highly valued. Skills in FPGA/CPLD design, embedded CPU/Microcontroller firmware, and LIDAR systems further enhance candidacy.
