Senior Staff Engineer Test Technology & Solutions Senior Staff Engineer Test Technology & Solutions in our Research & Development team will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape future technology, drive groundbreaking projects, and bring new ideas to life.Your Role New Product Introduction (NPI): Develop and implement comprehensive test solutions for new products, including test strategy, test plan, and test execution, to ensure successful NPI to Mass Production ReleaseQUAL Support: Provide expert support for QUAL activities, including test development, test validation, and test qualification, to ensure products meet quality and reliability standardsHVM Support: Optimize test processes for high-volume manufacturing, focusing on yield improvement, defect reduction, and efficient productionRMA Support: Analyze and resolve customer issues through failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementationTest Development: Design, develop, and maintain test programs, including test software and test hardware, to ensure efficient and effective testingCollaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure test solutions meet product requirements and align with business objectivesTechnical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, providing technical leadership and expertise to develop their skillsContinuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize test processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiencyYour Profile Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience working with ATE 93K testers, with a focus on NPI, QUAL, HVM, and RMA supportStrong understanding of test engineering principles, including test strategy, test plan, and test executionExperience with test development, including test software and test hardwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical data and identify solutionsPreferred Qualifications Experience with automotive devices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ASPICE)Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, Perl)Experience with data analysis and visualization toolsCertification in test engineering or a related fieldSalary Morgan Hill, CA – Minimum of $147,400 salary per year / Maximum of $202,700 salary per yearEqual Opportunity Employer Infineon Technologies Americas Corp., is an equal opportunity employer.
