What You Will Do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines that support both real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and LLM technologies into data workflows.
• Own data products end-to-end, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Optimize existing data systems for latency, cost, and throughput.
• Utilize technologies such as Python, Kafka, Spark, and PostgreSQL to deliver impactful solutions.
• Drive the architecture and design of distributed systems that handle large-scale data operations.
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to production deployment.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 7–15 years of experience in backend or data platform engineering.
• Proven track record of building and owning data systems that are product-facing.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience in Kafka, Spark, and Airflow.
• Background in data-intensive environments, preferably within startups or high-growth companies.
• Familiarity with OLAP systems like ClickHouse and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

Preferred

• Experience integrating AI or LLMs into data workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, ambiguous data challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and product teams.

Compensation and Benefits
