The Git Source team is re-architecting Google's Software Development Life Cycle through the Future of Git (FoG) initiative. We are leading an accelerated transition from legacy proprietary systems to industry-standard platforms as the foundation for an internal developer platform (IDP).
Our mission is to rapidly land General Availability, delivering an AI-first SDLC architecture characterized by agentic orchestration, spec-driven development, and context-aware intelligence.In this role, you will be responsible for the technical leadership required to bridge Google’s unique internal scale with industry-standard ecosystems while navigating complex Cloud security governance and requirements. You will provide technical orchestration across engineering teams in Cloud and Open Ecosystems, Google Cloud, Git Ecosystem, and Privacy Safety and Security (PSS) to ensure a highly available, "compliant-by-default" developer experience that accelerates feature velocity for Googlers.

As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$365,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
