Senior Sterile Processing Technician (Evening Shift)- $10,000 Sign on Bonus

Description:

Ability to work well with a team and focus on priorities for Operating Room schedule.

• Decontaminates, prepares, packages and sterilizes surgical instrumentation and supplies.
• Performs all duties of a Certified Sterile Technician.
• Meets daily required distribution of processed materials with proper documentation and

reports submitted.

• Assures proper instrumentation requirements for the surgical schedule as indicated by

supervisor and SPD/OR Liaison

• Operates the sterilizer and ensures that staff is producing a minimum of 4 trays each.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from a Central Services Technician course and Certification preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in this job classification required; 5 years

preferred.

• Computer knowledge required.
• Good interpersonal skills necessary.
