  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Rubrik server and client environments, including backup scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Administer Fibre Channel fabrics (Cisco/Brocade), including zoning configuration, performance monitoring, and capacity management.
  • Design, implement, and secure SMB file shares and coordinate NFS export creation and access with server administrators.
  • Provision and manage SAN storage for VMware ESX clusters in coordination with vCenter administrators.
  • Configure and maintain snapshots and volume replication; support point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery operations.
  • Develop and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) strategies aligned with customer requirements.
  • Install and administer Linux and Windows systems supporting storage platforms (e.g., Rubrik, media, DSM, and master servers).
  • Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity trends; develop dashboards to enhance visibility and lifecycle planning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backup failures, infrastructure issues, and Tier 2/3 service requests.
  • Collaborate with vendors to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate with Change Management to plan and execute maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes during scheduled windows.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using scripting and storage platform APIs (e.g., Dell, NetApp).
  • Support cloud storage integrations and hybrid infrastructure environments as needed.
  • Continuously improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Operate effectively both independently and within a 24/7/365 support environment.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring team members.
