    Job Description

    Oracle is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing strategy for CPUs, silicon-based products, and emerging technologies supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and on-premises platforms.

    This highly visible role will manage strategic supplier relationships across critical infrastructure categories where cost, capacity, technology roadmaps, and continuity of supply are essential to Oracle''s growth. You will lead commercial negotiations, develop pricing and sourcing strategies, support long-term capacity planning, and drive initiatives that strengthen supply-chain resiliency and supplier performance.

    Working closely with Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, and business leadership, you will translate technical and business requirements into executable supplier strategies. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment and influencing decisions across Oracle and its strategic supplier ecosystem.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for CPUs, silicon-based products, and related infrastructure components.
    • Lead strategic supplier relationships and serve as a primary interface between Oracle and key suppliers.
    • Lead complex commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, capacity, supply commitments, and business terms.
    • Develop long-term sourcing and capacity strategies aligned with product, technology, and infrastructure roadmaps.
    • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to understand technical requirements, supplier capabilities, technology roadmaps, and sourcing trade-offs.
    • Drive competitive cost, supplier performance, supply assurance, and supply-chain efficiencies across assigned categories.
    • Identify supply, capacity, commercial, and supplier risks and develop strategies to improve resiliency and continuity of supply.
    • Evaluate supplier and market dynamics to support sourcing decisions, negotiations, and long-term planning.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple Oracle lines of business and external suppliers.
    • Create and implement sourcing and supply-chain process improvements that drive efficiency and establish scalable best practices.
    • Navigate complex and ambiguous business situations using balanced judgment, analytical thinking, and structured problem solving.
    • Build constructive stakeholder relationships and influence decisions across technical, business, and supplier organizations.
    • Provide direction and mentorship to colleagues while promoting agility, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, supplier management, commodity management, or a related field preferred.
    • BA/BS degree preferred.
    • Experience supporting CPU, silicon, semiconductor, or closely adjacent technology categories strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience leading commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, contracting, and strategic supplier relationships.
    • Experience with capacity planning, constrained supply, supply assurance, risk mitigation, or supply-chain resiliency.
    • Ability to understand technical and commercial considerations and translate them into actionable sourcing strategies.
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, business leadership, and suppliers.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where work is non-routine, complex, and sometimes ambiguous.
