Greenville/Clemson, SC Area

Design the Projects That Keep Industries Moving

If you"re a structural engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges, leading projects, and mentoring others, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to grow your career.

Join a collaborative engineering team working on a diverse portfolio of projects across manufacturing, industrial, distribution, data centers, commercial, adaptive reuse, renovation, and specialty structures. You"ll have the opportunity to work on everything from facility expansions and upgrades to large-scale new construction projects while helping shape the next generation of engineers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and leadership sides of engineering-someone who wants a seat at the table with clients, architects, and contractors while remaining hands-on with design and project execution.

Why Engineers Are Interested in This Opportunity

  • Work on a diverse mix of commercial, industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and mission-critical projects.
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through construction.
  • Gain visibility with clients and play a key role in project success.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help shape a growing team.
  • Multiple growth paths available, whether you"re interested in technical specialization or team leadership.
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture that values collaboration, professional development, and work-life balance.
  • Flexible scheduling and a leadership team committed to employee growth.
  • Competitive compensation, strong benefits, and long-term career advancement opportunities.

What You"ll Do

  • Lead structural design and analysis efforts for a variety of building types and structural systems.
  • Manage projects and serve as a technical resource for clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop and review calculations, engineering reports, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend client, architect, and contractor meetings throughout project development and construction.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field conditions during construction.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of engineering work.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through technical development and project guidance.
  • Help maintain high standards of technical excellence, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment focused on problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What We"re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor"s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on building design.
  • Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and other common structural systems.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to lead projects while collaborating effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master"s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Experience mentoring, supervising, or leading engineering teams.
  • Client management and business development exposure.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
  • Experience with structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM, Tekla Structural Designer, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, or similar platforms.

The Ideal Candidate

You"re more than a strong engineer-you enjoy leading projects, building relationships, and helping others succeed.

You take ownership.

You enjoy tackling complex structural challenges.

You want the opportunity to influence projects, mentor Jr. engineers, and continue advancing your career.

Most importantly, you"re looking for a place where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your work has a visible impact on both projects and the people around you.

If you"re ready to take the next step in your structural engineering career while working on a diverse portfolio of challenging and rewarding projects, we"d love to connect with you.
