From revitalizing local communities to leading high‑profile, multi‑billion‑dollar infrastructure projects, we have earned a trusted reputation for excellence.SIE is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge design and transportation infrastructure projects to join our growing team.ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and transportation structures.Manage structural engineering tasks for local and state infrastructure projects.Prepare and review construction documents, plans, specifications, and engineering calculations.Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related transportation structures.Ensure designs comply with all applicable standards and codes.Provide technical leadership and quality control reviews for project deliverables.Support project management activities including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and client communications.Qualifications & SkillsActive New York and New Jersey PE License required.Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.At least 10–15 years of recent bridge structural design experience.Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies.Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as CSiBridge, SAP2000, STAAD, LEAP Bridge, or similar.Strong Microstation/AutoCAD skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Driver's License.Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.Expected salary range is $125,000 – $165,000 annually.
