Seeking a SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER for our Orlando, Florida office.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional or Structural Engineering licensure (not required to be in Florida) is required.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and analyzing telecommunications facilities (towers, water tanks, buildings/rooftops, foundations, small cell sites, custom telecom equipment support structures, fiberglass-reinforced plastics and antenna mounts).
  • In addition to telecommunication facilities, candidates with experience analyzing/designing mid-rise and high-rise steel, masonry, and concrete structures, including buildings, retaining walls, bridges, and/or miscellaneous structures is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA Suite, tnxTower, O-Calc, Enercalc, and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of TIA-222 standards. Experience in RAM Structural System and Revit Structure a plus.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform structural analysis and design of various wireless telecommunication structures.
  • Develop and review full construction drawing sets, including civil/site plan and structural sheets, working closely with drafters and other colleagues.
  • Preparation of proposals for various telecommunication projects and other potential structural engineering tasks.
  • Mentor and collaborate with other engineers and drafters, as well as collaborate with site acquisition and construction teams.
  • Ensure project accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of various engineering deliverables.
  • Occasionally conduct site visits to document field conditions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (No current or future visa sponsorships available).
  • Position is full-time in-person in our Orlando office (hybrid or remote opportunities will not be considered).
