   Job Competencies:
  • Project Design: 10+ years
  • Structural Engineering: 10+ years
  • Revit: Working knowledge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree; Civil/Structural Engineering required
  • Master’s Degree – Civil/Structural Engineering is a plus
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Working knowledge of Revit
  • 7+ years of relevant project design experience
  • 7+ years of structural engineering experience; strong understanding for core structural engineering concepts
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership skills – ability to manage and build teams effectively
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious
  • Is attuned to other areas as it relates to total project: structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural and site requirements
  • Experience with related industry software (Enercalc, SAP, Bluebeam, RISA, Tedds, RAM, Etabs)

Job Details:
  • Manage assigned projects by providing direct supervision, mentoring, and overall leadership of a design team
  • Develop project scope, schedule and budget estimates
  • Identify resources needed and effectively delegate staff duties and responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management
  • Create and execute project work plans
  • Analyze accounting reports and project schedule for variances
  • Monitor work for adherence to project scope and identify out of scope actions
  • Resolve scope, schedule and budget discrepancies internally and with our client
  • Prepare and submit appropriate project reports
  • Participate in contract negotiations
  • Establish client contact and maintain positive relationships
  • Serve as primary interface between client and staff for a given project
  • Coordinate, monitor and review work performed by sub?consultants
  • Practice good time management skills, demonstrating ability to work efficiently within time constraints while dealing with numerous concurrent  activities
  • Networking, including active participation in and leadership of professional organizations
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills to interface effectively with internal staff, clients, contractors, agencies and the public

Hours & Shift: M-F 8-5 - some flex depending on family situations - core hours would be 9-3
Overtime: They are busy!  Could potentially be - depending on projects
