Senior Structural / Transmission Line Engineer (5 Openings) Area: Multiple Markets (Denver, CO / Chicago, IL / Boston, MA / Bloomington, MN / Sacramento, CA / Los Angeles, CA / Walnut Creek, CA)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days / week)
Job Summary:
Serve as a senior technical specialist for overhead transmission line design, working with minimal supervision
Design transmission lines from 69kV to 500kV+, supporting 345kV-765kV rebuild and greenfield projects, including HVDC
Perform structural design of steel transmission structures and foundations using 3D analysis software
Use PLS-CADD (required) and PLS-POLE (a plus) to deliver line design and analysis
Apply NESC and ASCE/IEEE standards across project deliverables
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and maintain engineering design standards
Support business development, proposals, and pursuit activities
Qualifications: 11+ years of directly related transmission line engineering experience; BS in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; PE preferred; HVDC or 765kV experience a plus
