Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer

• Provides guidance on design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes.
• Assists in developing, maintaining, and updating engineering standards.
• Offers technical guidance on projects and disciplines.
• Ensures compliance with quality programs and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables and develops recommendations for equipment and material selection.
• Manages data collection, engineering calculations, and applies advanced techniques to solve problems.
• Oversees or coordinates multi-disciplinary teams and ensures budget, schedule, and quality adherence.
• Collaborates with internal and external teams on moderately complex projects.
• Identifies client interests and communicates them to project teams, supporting business development efforts.
• Provides technical expertise and mentors teams across multiple projects.
• Manages engineering resources for small groups and supports resource management strategies.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD and advanced knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Experience in utility-scale electrical transmission system design and structural design of transmission steel structures.
• Ability to work on-site and interface with customers, demonstrating strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment checks, including background and drug screening.
