Description
- Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Manage site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation.
- Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.
- Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and schedule challenges proactively.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and critical issues to the project team.
- Coordinate site logistics, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
Profile
- Proven experience leading commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Strong blueprint, specification, and contract-document reading skills.
- Experience with project scheduling and construction management software.
- Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify potential project issues and implement solutions quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to lead field teams while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
