A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on complex ground-up and renovation projects across a diverse commercial portfolio. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day jobsite execution, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through project completion.

Manage daily field operations including schedule coordination, subcontractor management, site logistics, and inspections.

Develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing plans to ensure milestones are achieved.

Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance.

Coordinate closely with project managers, owners, architects, and engineers to keep projects moving efficiently.

Lead subcontractor meetings, manage site documentation, and maintain a professional jobsite environment.

Oversee quality assurance and punch-list completion to ensure projects meet company standards.

Assist in preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and schedule development when required.

Mentor field staff and assistant superintendents while building a strong culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.

Proven track record delivering ground-up commercial projects and complex renovations.

Experience managing large multi-trade construction teams and subcontractors.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and site logistics.

Ability to manage projects across multiple sectors including commercial, institutional, municipal, or industrial construction.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage owners, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Proficiency with construction scheduling and field documentation tools.

OSHA training or equivalent safety certification preferred.
