Senior Superintendent - Core & Shell (Concrete) - Miami

A South Florida general contractor is hiring a Senior Superintendent to run core and shell on high-rise concrete projects in the Miami market. BELMONT Search is a construction executive search firm, retained on this search.

THE ROLE

You own the structure from mobilization through topping out and turnover of the shell. You set the floor to floor cycle, and you are the person who holds it.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full field ownership of the core and shell package, mobilization through turnover
• Cast in place structure: post tension decks, table form cycles, shoring and reshoring, pour sequencing
• Floor to floor cycle planning, and the daily discipline that protects it
• Tower crane and hoist logistics, material flow and site staging
• Miami-Dade inspections, threshold inspection coordination and quality control
• Management of self perform crews and subcontractors across formwork, rebar and finishing
• Safety leadership on an active high rise site, run as a standard rather than a binder

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ten or more years in the field, several of them running cast in place high rise structure
• South Florida experience, with working knowledge of Miami-Dade requirements
• Spanish is required. It is how the work runs on these sites.
• A record of holding cycle times on towers you have personally run

COMPENSATION

Base of $150,000 to $190,000, plus vehicle allowance and bonus.
