Senior SuperintendentA well-established, financially strong commercial general contractor in Southern California is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead a landmark $50M ground-up hotel/resort project in Orange County. With nearly 50 years in business, this privately held builder has earned an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality hospitality and multifamily developments throughout Southern California. The company generates over $200M annually, maintains a stable pipeline of negotiated work, and offers the collaborative culture of a mid-sized contractor where leadership has direct access to decision makers. If you're looking to join a respected builder with long-term stability, repeat clients, and exciting ground-up projects, we'd love to speak with you.Job DescriptionLead all field operations from site mobilization through project closeout.Manage project schedule and daily field activities.Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and ownership representatives.Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules.Ensure quality control and enforce company safety standards.Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production.Manage inspections, punch lists, and project turnover.Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and project staff.Maintain excellent communication with the project management team to achieve schedule and budget objectives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant10+ years of commercial construction experience with a General Contractor.Experience leading multiple ground-up commercial projects from start to finish.At least 3-4 successfully completed ground-up builds as the Lead Superintendent.Strong hospitality and/or multifamily construction experience.Extensive experience with concrete podium construction.Experience managing projects in the $20M-$35M+ range, with the ability to lead projects up to $50M.Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, structural concrete, quality control, and jobsite safety.Excellent leadership and communication skills.What's on OfferBase salary up to $200k (Depending on Experience)Vehicle allowance between $600 - $800 monthFull Gas ReimbursementBonus up to 20% of salary3 weeks PTO + 12 paid holidaysUnlimited 401k match, 25 cents for every dollar
