With a focus on promoting from within, they provide the structure, mentorship, and resources needed for Superintendents to advance into General Superintendent roles.
Description
The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of site construction from project start through closeout
- Supervising and developing Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns
- Enforcing safety programs and maintaining quality control standards
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Maintaining daily reports including site activity and progress photos
- Coordinating with inspectors and ensuring compliance with local codes
- Scheduling and obtaining all required inspections and occupancy approvals
Profile
The Senior Superintendent will have:
- Ground-up experience in K-12 or higher education construction
- Experience across healthcare, multifamily, senior living, or mixed-use is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage teams, prioritize work, and solve problems effectively
- Experience mentoring and developing field staff
- Solid understanding of construction processes and site operations
