Job TitleMultifamily SuperintendentJob DescriptionLead all on-site construction activities for a ground-up multifamily project, from vertical construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget. Oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, including subcontractor management, field coordination, and workforce planning. Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying risks and adjusting sequencing to meet key milestones. Enforce OSHA safety standards and implement quality control measures across all phases of construction. Coordinate closely with project managers, ownership, and design teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Identify and resolve field issues, delays, and coordination challenges to maintain project momentum. Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and workmanship standards. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation to track progress and support project execution.The Successful Applicant20+ years of experience in multifamily construction, with a strong focus on ground-up projects. Extensive experience building wood-frame / garden-style apartment communities (required). Proven ability to lead large-scale projects as the lead superintendent, with full ownership of site operations. Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor management, jobsite safety, and QC/QA processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to run teams, hold subcontractors accountable, and drive performance. Hard-nosed, hands-on builder mentality with the ability to operate independently and make critical field decisions. Strong communication skills with experience working alongside ownership and senior leadership. Interest and capability to grow into a regional or multi-project leadership role.What's on OfferBase salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.
