Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Superintendent to join our Residential Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the residential construction process, from pre-construction planning to final project completion. This role involves supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and meeting project deadlines. The Senior Superintendent will also play a key role in liaising with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding results that meet and exceed expectations. If you have a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of the residential construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Supervise construction teams, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure optimal performance.
3. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
7. Participate in pre-construction planning, including reviewing plans, preparing estimates, and scheduling project activities.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the residential construction industry.
2. Proven experience in subcontractor management, with a strong ability to coordinate and oversee multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, train, and supervise teams to deliver high-quality work.
5. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, tools, and safety regulations.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant technologies.
8. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) will be an added advantage.
