Job Description

The Senior Superintendent - Top 100 ENR GC - Raleigh will be expected to: Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead the on-site execution of complex commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to drive schedules, control costs, and meet client expectations
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones, sequencing, and critical path tracking

Field Management

• Direct daily field operations, managing subcontractors, labor, materials, and equipment
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work complies with OSHA, company, and project-specific standards
• Oversee quality assurance, conduct regular site inspections, and resolve field issues proactively

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary field point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
• Participate in weekly OAC meetings, prepare daily logs, and provide real-time updates on schedule and progress

Risk & Change Management

• Identify and mitigate potential risks early
• Manage and document change orders, field directives, and coordination issues

Mentorship & Team Building

• Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers
• Foster a collaborative jobsite culture focused on accountability, communication, and excellence

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Superintendent - Top 100 ENR GC - Raleigh should have the following qualifications:

• 10+ Years of Experience as a Superintendent with a strong record of success on ground-up and/or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, higher ed, or industrial/advanced manufacturing construction preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects valued at $40M+ from start to finish
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain strong client relationships
• Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and familiarity with Procore or similar platforms
• OSHA 30 Certification and current safety training credentials preferred
