You’ve earned the chance to lead more than a project. This opportunity puts you at the center of a growing Charlotte electrical engineering practice, with the support of a nationally recognized firm and a real path toward senior leadership and equity.

You’ll lead the design of complex building electrical systems, mentor a talented team, build lasting client relationships, and help shape the practice’s future. The project mix spans healthcare, data centers, laboratories, life sciences, higher education, and advanced technology facilities—so the work stays interesting.

And the culture and schedule are a big part of the story: a collaborative team, flexible work-from-home days, and half-day Fridays.

What you’ll lead

• Electrical design and technical delivery from concept through construction, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
• Project teams, quality reviews, schedules, budgets, and coordination across engineering disciplines
• Client relationships, project pursuits, proposals, and interviews
• Mentorship and development of electrical engineers and designers
• Construction support, including RFIs, submittals, field observations, and problem-solving

What you’ll bring

You’re a licensed PE with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of building systems design experience in a consulting engineering or A/E firm. You’ve led people and projects, know your way around Revit and AutoCAD, and can confidently guide electrical design while working directly with clients.

Experience in healthcare, mission critical, labs, life sciences, or other complex facilities is especially welcome.
