Position Title: Senior Supervisor of Quality Improvement, Data Management, and Data Exchange
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: Associate Director of Quality Assurance
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a senior level position that reports to the Associate Director of Quality Assurance. One or more Supervisors or Coordinators report to the Senior Supervisor. The Senior Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Quality Improvement, Data Management, Data Exchange, and Health Information Management at Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC). Includes responsibility for project management, supervision of specified staff, and all related administrative duties.

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
- Quality Improvement
- Oversight of Quality Improvement across all TTC departments, including Primary Care
- Directs development and monitoring of performance improvement initiatives
- Streamlines workflows using innovative and AI‑enabled approaches to reduce rework, manual reporting, and operational inefficiencies
- Oversight of Fixxer dashboard, care cascades, and outcome monitoring
- Advances TTC's visibility and leadership in quality improvement and data-driven care
- Data management for behavioral health
- Directs the addition and subtraction of fields and forms to Avatar
- Approves merging of patient records in Avatar
- Translates program, clinical, and regulatory needs into system design requirements
- Data Exchange
- Manages data elements exchanged among TTC applications that handle patient data including Avatar, Epic, and applications developed in-house or by vendors under contract with TTC
- Oversees data exchange with external parties using any medium (paper, image, digital)
- Health Information Management
- Manages HIM Department via supervision of the HIM Supervisor
- Oversee chart order, medical record structure, documentation standards, and HIM workflows
- Leads HIM modernization
- Other duties as assigned by Director and/or Administration
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in business, public health, public management, or related field
- Three (3) years experience in information management or equivalent experience
