    Job SummaryWe're looking for a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing production teams and support daily execution across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. This role provides leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure production goals are met while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, operational excellence, and employee development

    The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning and executing production schedules, developing employees, improving processes, and ensuring customer commitments are met, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Location: On-Site, Windsor, CTShift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

    What You'll Be Doing

    Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goalsCoach, develop, and support production employees and team leadsPlan and prioritize work in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environmentManage staffing, labor utilization, overtime, and cross-training activitiesProvide technical support for machining operations, blueprint interpretation, and process troubleshootingPartner with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance to meet customer commitmentsDrive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence initiativesMonitor performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement improvementsPromote employee engagement, accountability, and professional developmentMaintain a safe, organized, and compliant manufacturing environmentSupport operational escalations and provide backup leadership when needed

    What We're Looking For

    Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor's degree, technical degree, or trade school certification preferred5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership roleExperience leading teams in a production environmentStrong knowledge of machining, manufacturing processes, and production operationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical specificationsStrong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with production planning, workforce management, and operational metricsProficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systemsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

    Nice to Have

    Aerospace manufacturing or component repair experienceLean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Continuous Improvement experienceSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExperience in a regulated manufacturing environmentKnowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processesExperience supporting customer audits and operational performance initiatives
