    Description

    Job Responsibilities

    • Primarily support sites in US on all Supplier Performance issues
    • Lead the development and management of Supplier Quality Engineering methodology in multiple sites within region and suppliers globally
    • Train, mentor, and use Quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, Six Sigma to drive supplier improvement
    • Participate and lead NPI/ CE/VE projects to drive cost savings and compliance to Quality requirements across regions
    • Drive Supplier Engineering metrics such as Cost of Poor Performance, Supplier PPM, Delivery (OTTR), Productivity and Lead Time as needed within the regional supply base to deliver results
    • Assist Sourcing and Supplier Engineering leadership in Supplier selection, verification, development of suppliers globally.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in SQE/SDE field with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience working in healthcare industry
    • Experience with ISO standards and supplier quality auditing.
    • Must have demonstrated understanding of APQP and PPAP processes and implementation.
    • Six Sigma expertise.

    Preferred Skills

    • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

    • Experience dealing in multisite environment and managing requirements of multiple stakeholders.

    • Experience working with FDA Medical Devices and Drugs.

    • Strong background in Statistical process control, DOE, capability analysis (Cp, Cpk).
