Job Title: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support new product development initiatives, focusing on supplier quality and process readiness for product launches and regional expansions. The role involves translating product designs into manufacturing-ready processes, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring suppliers meet quality and compliance standards throughout the product lifecycle. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams while playing a key role in process validation.

Responsibilities

  • Translate design outputs and product specifications into production-ready controls and processes for supplier execution.
  • Perform risk assessments, likely FMEA-based, and implement mitigation strategies across supplier and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead or support validation efforts to ensure processes are stable, repeatable, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Qualify, audit, and monitor suppliers to ensure compliance with GMP and Medtronic standards.
  • Work alongside design, engineering, and supply chain teams to support product launches and design changes.
  • Improve supplier capability, stability, and performance for long-term production success.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or NPD Quality Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Strong background in risk management, including FMEA and hazard analysis.
  • Experience translating design outputs into manufacturing/production controls.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably in medical devices, FDA/GMP.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting new product development (NPD) or product launch activities.
  • Experience with supplier audits and supplier qualification programs.
  • Knowledge of large OEM systems.
  • Experience with regional expansions or design changes in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with product line support, StealthAxis experience is a bonus.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite in Lafayette, CO, with a standard 40-hour work week. You will work in a regulated, GMP-controlled environment, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. The role is likely documentation-heavy, focusing on compliance, validation, and audit support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
