Description
- Serve as the primary supply chain contact for assigned customer programs, ensuring material availability and delivery performance.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, delivery, and supply chain risk.
- Manage purchase order placement and lifecycle activities to support production and customer commitments.
- Partner with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules, resolve issues, and mitigate supply disruptions.
- Identify and qualify alternative sourcing solutions to address shortages and improve supply continuity.
- Drive material expedites, supplier follow-up activities, and delivery commitment management.
- Optimize inventory levels and stocking strategies to support working capital and operational goals.
- Analyze demand, backlog, and inventory trends to improve planning and decision-making.
- Communicate program status, risks, and action plans to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Experience sourcing materials and components, preferably within electronics or highly engineered products.
- Strong understanding of supplier management, material planning, and inventory control.
- Proven experience managing shortages, expediting materials, and supporting on-time delivery goals.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
