Senior Supply Planner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the creation of a Master Resource Plan based on the latest demand signals to ensure sufficient production and purchasing of finished products, while maintaining adequate raw materials and components to support the supply plan up to a 24-month horizon.
  • Supporting the development of capacity plans by analyzing the latest demand signals to identify potential bottlenecks or risks to supply and recommending appropriate mitigation proposals.
  • Supporting the identification of underutilized capacity that could impact supply costs, and developing strategies to optimize resource utilization.
  • Working under the supervision of the Supply Planning Manager to set the correct levels of safety stock within the supply plan by understanding demand volatility and supply chain lead times.
  • Tracking the execution of the supply plan by coordinating with production scheduling and purchasing teams to ensure plan operationalization and performance monitoring.
  • Monitoring deviations from the supply plan to identify back orders or supply risks, and implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Ensuring proper phased-in and phased-out planning of products, including timely communication regarding product transitions within the plant or through third-party suppliers.
  • Communicating regularly with the business regarding the status of the product portfolio from a supply planning perspective to maintain transparency.
  • Supporting the Supply Planning Manager in providing effective updates to the demand plan by confirming supply capacity and capability through daily, weekly, and monthly review processes.
  • Maintaining core supply planning system master data to focus on real supply issues and improve planning accuracy.
  • Root causing performance issues within the supply plan and providing recommendations to the Supply Planning Manager to mitigate further risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain capacity utilization and improve safety stock health, reducing back orders and lead times.
  • Developing and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the supply planning process to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially within the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production, supply, or demand planning, demonstrating solid understanding of planning processes.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or equivalent platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP IBP, Power Query, or JD Edwards.
  • Background in MedTech or related industries.
