Senior Survey Designer

An established engineering and surveying firm is seeking an experienced Senior Survey Designer to support a diverse mix of residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and transportation projects.

This is a role for someone who has developed a strong foundation in survey drafting and is ready for greater ownership of their work. You’ll take field information, construction documents, markups, and project direction and turn them into accurate, thoughtful deliverables that help move projects forward.

You’ll be counted on to recognize issues before they become problems, communicate effectively with project managers and surveyors, and help develop others around you. For someone who enjoys the detail and precision of survey work but also wants their experience and judgment to matter, this could be an ideal next step.

• The firm works across residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and transportation-related projects

• You'll work closely with Supervisors, Project Managers, and other technical professionals from field information through completed survey documents and exhibits

• Projects may include topographical surveys, certificates of survey, easement exhibits, construction layout drawings, staking data, and other survey deliverables

• Advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D capability is important, but technical judgement and accuracy matter just as much
